LOL... We were just engaged then when he went. Gosh about 10 months ago or
so. Anyway, he offered to take me along, but I wasn't certified yet, and we
just got back from the Virgin Islands, I didn't want to dump my kids on
anyone for another two weeks, so I opted to stay home, watch the kids and
the dogs. If he had the opportunity to do it again and I couldn't go, I'd
still encourage him to go. No use in neither one of us getting any really
good diving just because I couldn't go. I couldn't be that selfish.

Opportunity?
You mean this was not a simple case of saying, "I want to go to Figi"
and buying tickets?

Well yeah, but it was a Liveaboard trip with his local dive shop, not
something he would ordinarily do on his own. Very expensive, but I'm glad
he signed up and said he'd go and had the money. Money isn't as flowing as
it used to be. I lost my job and started a new one that doesn't pay nearly
what I was being paid before, blah blah blah....
