I took the battery out of my Companion for a replacement. When the
new battery was installed the computer was stuck in "LOG" mode. A quick
check of the service manual confirmed that if the battery is left out for more
than a few minutes the computer will lose all calibration data.
Anyone either divers or Suunto hackers know how get this unit back to work?

Many thanks to everybody.

Livio.

I would try to contact Suunto via one of their retailers:

  1) go to www.suunto.com
  2) select "Products" on top of the page
  3) Select "Find a retailer"
  4) enter you details
  5) ask their advice.
