Hi,
I have a Nikon Coolpix 995 and I know there are Ikelite housings for it.
What i was wondering if there are any stores that rent the housings so I
don't have to spend the $1k to buy one being that I don't dive that often
anymore..
Thanks

I doubt it. Whose fault is it if it floods?

In any event, I think it makes more sense to rent the whole thing, for this
same reason. Perhaps someone would rent the housing only for a lot less, but
I've not seen them out there. Maybe find someone with the same camera and
a setup?

Renatls will be hard to find.
SCUBA is expensive; underwater photography more so.
You might find a better price on-line.

Good luck!

You'd trust your own camera to a rental housing you don't know who used last
or if it's been well maintained?
Lots of resorts and live-aboards rent the full setups for a good sum, but
I've not seen rentals of just housings. Mainly, probably due to logistics
and the shear number of camera types and models out there that change every
year or two. Potential liability for YOUR camera could be a factor as well
if maintenance became a negligence issue.
You could always buy and rent out yours when not in use.
