Hi

I have an old Dacor Pacer reg.  The 2nd stage tends to freeflow a bit and
it's probably time to replace it but I'd like to know if it's worth
retaining the 1st stage and simply adding a new 2nd stage???

thanks

It could be the first stage that's causing the freeflow. Take it to local
dive shop and let them check it out.
When was the last time it was overhauled?

I should have mentioned that finding the parts for an old Dacor may be a
problem.

Thanks Al.  I think I've now realised that you're probably right re the
parts thing.  I had seen it elsewhere and your comment adds weight to it.

It is old so maybe it's time to put hand in pocket and shell out for a new
replacement.

Parts will be extremely hard to get. While I liked the Pacer, mine was
replaced ages ago.
