Has any one used a metal dectector while diving, if yes which one, and
did the machine read well in salt water. Thanks

I use a Whites Surfmaster PI.  It has a max depth rating of 100 ft, but
I've had it down to 130 without any problems.  It works very well, it
does not have descrimation, so it hits on everything.  I have found
weight belts, dive knives, dive watches.  A complete set of OMS dbl
120's with Dive Rite wings and backplate and Scubapro regs attached.
Lots of coins and jewelry.  Not to mention the countless scoops of
worthless junck.  But heck the antisipation is 80% of the fun!
