Any opinions?

According to the online documentation, the total linear dimensions (H
+ W + D) are about 66", which exceeds the airlines restrictions by
about 4".  Has anyone had an issue with this, especially on American
Airlines?

Airlines are now imposing size restrictions on checked luggage?

Imposing?  I don't know.  That's my question.  The rules are clear.
I'm just wondering how strict people have found them to be.
