Glad it worked. I apologize but I misread your original post about the Aeris
being an AI. I have the Atmos 2 which uses a funky USB cable that's normal
on the computer end and a tiny 4 pronged thing on the other end that barely
fits.

Had to install the USB drivers (and Suunto DM application), but otherwise it
worked perfectly to directly connect my Suunto D9 to my notebook USB (doesn't
have any serial ports).
