The O-pac by Oxycheq looks interesting for travel. Has anyone
tried one? Impressions?

A Dive Rite aluminum backplate is readily available for about $50.
Webbing and D rings to complete the rig costs about $40 or less, so
for less than $100 you can have a very useable and lightweight
backplate and harness system that IMHO is superior to any soft-pack.
Even taking the cost of an STA into consideration you are still money
ahead.

So, in other words, you have not tried one.
