On the news they had the bloke who was attacked the other day. They
interviewed his dive buddy who put the survival down to a shark repellent
device strapped to his leg. Has anyone ever used these? How do they work?

Pricey!!!!!
it is called a car and if you want to be protected from sharks you don't get
out of it.
Of course you are far more likely to die or be injured in a car accident
going to a dive site than being attacked by a shark
