I am writing an article about the sinking of the S.S. Euro on 24 August
1881 near Beachport South Australia and of the one death (a distant
relative of mine).  The Euro was on its way from Robe to Beachport when
it struck a reef off Nora Creina Bay.  The ship continued toward
Beachport and was turned to shore and finally sank about 6.4 km or 4
miles from Beachport.  I am having great difficulty finding out precisly
where the ship sank.  Can anyone on the list tell me precisely where the
S.S. Euro now rests ?  Does anyone know what condidtion the wreck is in
and are there any images of the wreck ?  Thanks.  Ian

I found what I was looking fo on the Dept of Environment & Heritage
'National Shipwrecks' web page and the SA Govt interactive map web page.
