Hi there,

Anyone know of Sydney shore dives that are as easy to get to the water as
Shelly Beach at Manly?

Looking for another site like that which for those that have never been
there is about a 10mtr walk over the sand from the gear dropoff point that
you can drive to.

Hi Thomas

I did a very pleasant and easy dive off the baths at Harbord recently.  Car
parking readily available (bring coins), walk down about 50 stairs to the
baths and enter about mid-way along the opposite side: there's a gutter
there that is perfect for entries.  I headed east from there, dived to about
11m and had a very pleasant time.  Because of its position, I would not be
diving this on a spring tide, nor after lots of rain.

Enjoy it

Mark

Long Bay, Camp Cove, Gordon's Bay and Bare Island are fairly easy to get to.
