Adirondack Divers
The Adirondack Divers is a non-profit organization consisting of local area divers interested in promoting scuba diving through education and awareness of the historical and ecological value of Northeastern New York State waters. Our main objective is to encourage underwater conservation and safe diving practices through responsible diving and proper training. Dues are $20 yearly. Memberships received after October 15 will run through the following full year.Our diving season runs from late spring to early fall depending on the temperature.
Aquatic Voyagers Scuba Club
We at Aquatic Voyagers Scuba Club see ourselves as a local extension of the work that has been established at the national level through the National Association of Black Scuba Divers. Our club mission is to translate the goals and initiatives of NABS into our local communities here in the Greater New York area. AVSC meets every third Saturday of the month in the Main Academic Core Building on Guy R. Brewer Blvd.
Dive Club of New York
The Dive Club has been active since 1991. We started with an Instructor and a bunch of Divemasters with the objective of starting a club whose purpose would be to dive! With over 100 members and growing, we are the leaders on Long Island for advancing our sport. Most of the professional dive facilities on the Island and the surrounding boroughs offer discounts on both equipment and courses to our members. We have regularly scheduled wreck and beach dives, parties, and monthly meetings.
Northeast Aquanauts
This site is dedicated to Scuba Diving In The New York - New Jersey Area & other interesting dive locations in the Northeast. We provide the following - Guided Wreck Tours, Scuba Instruction, Salvage & Recovery, Underwater Filming and one of the Most Active Dive Clubs In The Metro Area. Northeast Aquanauts Has also started a second scuba club for spear-fishermen ONLY.
NYC Sea Gypsies Scuba Diving Club
The NYC Sea Gypsies, a dive club for about a quarter century now, is made up of individuals of all ages from all walks of life with one thing in common, we all share a love of scuba diving. Our monthly meetings, attended by usually 40-50 members, begin with a fast-paced business meeting, committee reports, dive reports, introduction of visitors, interspersed with late arrivals & muted dinner orders. Following a short surface interval - - to pay dinner tabs - - will be a presentation, including films, mixed media or slides, on a dive topic (travel, safety, marine life, equipment, underwater adventure, etc.) and plenty of opportunity to socialize!
Scuba Sports Club
The Scuba Sports Club (TSSC) is an independent, not-for-profit scuba club with members from Westchester and surrounding counties. General meetings are the second Wednesday of every month (except January) at 8 pm. Every month we have a program which includes a distinguished speaker. Presentations will begin promptly at 8:30. Every month we publish a newsletter, the Sea Swells Log, which includes reports on our recent and upcoming activities.
